Airport Taxi Cab Vehicle Types
Saloon Car – A mid-sized or intermediate sedan. e.g. Ford Mondeo, Honda Accord, VW Passat, Chevrolet Malibu. These are examples of standard size taxi cabs. Maximum of 4 passengers with two large suitcases and 2 pieces of hand luggage. These are our economy cabs, ideal for transport to and from any UK airport.
Estate Car – A mid-sized or intermediate station wagon. E.g. Ford Mondeo, VW Passat etc. Ideal for transfer to or from airports when you have a lot of luggage. Maximum of 4 passengers with up to 4 large suitcases and 4 pieces of hand luggage. Taxis of this size are ideal for small families to travel to the airport.
MPV – Mini Van e.g. Ford Galaxy, VW Sharan, Chrysler Town and Country. Suitable for a family of 5 with a large suitcase and a piece of hand luggage each. This size of airport taxi cab can take up to 6 passengers, but will have very little room for luggage.
Minibus – Large Mini Van for up to 8 passengers with 8 large suitcase and 8 pieces of hand luggage. E.g. Ford Tourneo & VW Transporter Shuttle. For large families or groups wanting airport transfers.
Executive Car – Mid-sized luxury car. e.g Mercedes E class, Jaguar XF, Audi A6, BMW 5 series. For luxury executive airport transfers. Maximum of 4 passengers with 2 large suitcases and 2 pieces of hand luggage.
Executive VIP – Full-size luxury car, Limo or Limousine. e.g. Mercedes S class, Jaguar XJ, Audi A8, BMW 7 series. For the discerning VIP. Chauffeur driven luxury, by limo or limousine. Transfer to or from any UK airport. Maximum of 4 passengers with 2 large suitcases and 2 pieces of hand luggage.
