Q       What if I don’t know the postcode ?
A       Please use the postcode help button and see if the system can help find the correct postcode.

Q       What if my postcode is not listed?
A       We have included many postcodes in our database, however if yours is not listed please us the manual quote form, to request a quotation. Alternatively you can email us at admin@UKTaxi.com

Q       How much notice do I have to give UKTaxi for a booking?
A       We need 24 hours advanced notice prior to your pickup time.

Q       How much time should I allow for the journey to the airport?
A       The system will generate a google map showing a possible route and also an estimate of the journey time. Please note that this is only an estimate and extra time needs to be added for traffic and unexpected delays. Airlines also recommend that you arrive 2 – 3 hours before your flight departs. If in any doubt contact your airline.

Q       What happens if I haven’t received confirmation and my transfer is imminent?
A       Please call 0845 459 2690 and we will deal with your booking as quickly as possible.

Q       I need to make changes to my booking, who do I contact?
A       If there is more than 24 hours before your initial pickup, please feel free to amend your booking on-line or email us at admin@UKTaxi.com . If there is less than 24 hours before your initial pickup, please call or email your nominated transport provider as soon as possible. Your nominated transport provider contact details will be on your booking confirmation email.

Q       Is the price quoted a fixed fare?
A       Yes, our prices are fully inclusive of VAT, the price quoted is the price you pay. Please note that there could be additional charges if there are additional drop offs, pickups or diversions that were not included in the original quote. For airport pickups there is a possibility of incurring additional cost for driver waiting time over 30 minutes and car park cost over £5.00. Please let us know how many minutes after your aeroplane lands, you would like your driver to start waiting for you in the arrivals hall.

Q       Can I smoke in the vehicle?
A       No, we offer a strict no smoking policy in all of our vehicles.

Q       My driver is late, what do I do?
A       Please call the company assigned to collect you. The telephone number will be in your confirmation email. Alternatively call UKTaxi customer services on 0845 459 2690

Q       How long will the driver wait for me?
A       Once 45 minutes after your requested meeting time has gone by, your driver will make extensive enquiries at the airport and will ask the airport customer services to page you on their public address system. Your driver will make all reasonable attempts to make contact with you before he/she leaves the terminal building. If you are delayed, it is advisable to contact the driver or their office, the number will be on the confirmation email. Failing this, contact  UKTaxi customer services on 0845 459 2690.

Q       Will I be charged for waiting time?
A       The first 30 minutes of waiting time and the first £5 of car park charges are included in the prise. Any extra waiting time is charged at a rate of £20 per hour pro rata. Please let us know how many minutes after your aeroplane lands, you would like your driver to start waiting for you in the arrivals hall. This help reduce the frequency that we charge our customers extra.

Q       How many minutes after landing should I request the driver start waiting for me?
A       If you are an EU national with hand luggage only we suggest that the driver starts waiting for you 10 minutes after the expected landing time. If you have checked in luggage then perhaps 15 – 20 minutes. If you are a non EU national and expect delays at passport control/immigration, perhaps 30 – 40 minutes after landing. Please help us to help you, as you know your personal circumstances and we do not like to make any additions to your fare.

Q       What if the flight is delayed or arrives early?
A       We constantly monitor all flights for updated landing times. If your flight is due to arrive earlier than expected we will dispatch the driver to meet you at the earlier time. If the flight is delayed, we will dispatch the driver later and you will not be charged for this. Please note that we rely on the official airport information systems. Sometimes this information may not be updated, causing the driver to enter the terminal too early or too late. We can only react to the information that is made public.

Q       What happens if I miss my flight?
A       Please call or email your nominated transport provider as soon as possible. Your nominated transport provider contact details will be on your booking confirmation email. If you fail to inform your transport provider and the driver is dispatched you will be charged for booking and you will receive no refund. If however you inform your transport provider prior to the despatch of the driver we will place your transfer order on hold and reschedule a driver to meet your new flight.

Q       What happens if my flight is diverted to another airport?
A       Please call or email your nominated transport provider as soon as possible. Your nominated transport provider contact details will be on your booking confirmation email. We will not despatch the driver to the other airport until you have authorised us to do so. Additional mileage charges may occur. Please note, it is your airlines responsibility to pay for and arrange transfers to your original destination airport.

Q       Is the driver's tip included in the price?
A       Tipping the driver is not included and is at the passenger's discretion
